Sandersville/Dublin - Sandersville Technical College and Heart of Georgia Technical College in Dublin have consolidated their administrations and will officially join together on July 1 as Oconee Fall Line Technical College.
This is the latest in a series of mergers over the last two years involving several colleges in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). The mergers have been designed to save on college administrative costs while improving the student learning experience.

Deal touts Georgia ranking as No. 4 for business
State also received high marks from U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Gov. Nathan Deal this week announced that CNBC ranked Georgia as the fourth-best place for business in the cable business network’s annual listing of the top states for business released. The 2011 ranking is a six-place jump from the state’s previous 10th-place ranking.

For the second time in as many years, Dublin resident Roger Folsom participated in the Georgia Chamber of Commerce's annual Red Carpet Tour of Georgia.
But this year's tour turned out to be different for two very good reasons.

Work Ready Director To Hold Office At HGTC

Some two months after his initial visit to Heart of Georgia Technical College, Governor's Office of Workforce Development Director Melvin J. Everson will make his first monthly office call tomorrow.
