For Employers & Job Seekers

Georgia, Laurens County, and the City of Dublin are not only committed to supporting industry, but there is a very long history in doing so by educating and supporting people. Of many programs dedicated to building an even stronger workforce, four programs are national recognized benchmarks:

  • Heart of Georgia Technical College (www.hgtc.org) offers services to both students and organizations seeking Quick Start assistance or special training. For students the Career Services and Assessment Center provides prospective students with the skills and knowledge needed to make realistic career decisions in choosing a program of study and administers exams that identify students’ readiness for placement in an academic arena. Support services to current students are also available to assist individuals in successful completion of career goals and eventual gainful employment. HGTC graduates are eligible for career services regardless of the amount of time since graduation occurred.
  • For employers, HGTC is the conduit for free personnel training and business services for qualified organizations.
